i'm sorry that i didn't post yesterday...but I GOT MY GUITAR!!!! WOOHOO!! Check IT!! they had completely sold out of both Mini-Strats and Bullet Electrics...so instead with some loving help from my dad on the money issue, i got...a Squier Infinity Stratocaster!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (i'll pay him back though) we got a total KA Fender AMP with it too! so, well, man. it's soooo awesome!!

yesterday i had to get up super early so i could go to work with my dad. so we went, we did a couple of stuff at his work, and then around 10:30 we headed off to Sam Ash. now, i love that place! it's really sweet. if you play ANYTHING, like base, drums, piano, flute, whatever, you have to go there. the sweetest part is they let you PLAY the stuff there in the store. you could grab a Gibson SG that's $600 and just plug into an amp and jam. and no one would care! it's pretty sweet. so anyway, we got there, and the guitar/base manager came over to me and my dad, and was like 'how can i help ya?' he was pretty nice, somewhat funny. we asked for the guitars and he goes 'they're both sold out'. man...i almost started crying. and dad told me that him and mom had been talking about helping me out to get a bit better guitar then just a 100 dollar one. so instead....<< ff >> we bought one of those, loaded it up in the car, and headed off back to home! well i really got to go now. everybody in my family's up from sleeping and that means...guitar time! uhh, corny sounding i know, but i gotta go ok?? i'll post a little later ttyl!

:Sobs: my fingers hurt so bad i can't even play! .... even with bandaids on my fingers! man...i really got blisters on my fingers now. dad won't let me play ether because if they don't somewhat heal up when sunday comes around i can't play in the band! hehe, that's partly a good thing! oh, yea, i haven't told you about the band have i? ok...well...the band is this early morning worship praise band for my church. well, i got sucked into playing in it because i wanted a guitar, and because of my mother. the guy who was lending me the cheep yamaha was in the band. and well, him and the other guitarist wanted me to come play with them. that i just wouldn't hook up to the sound system and that was the best way to learn. so for the price of a guitar strap (Police line do not cross guitar strap) from Sam Ash i sold my soul to the band. (we don't have a name...i think we should be Charlie's Angels since the guy who started it was Charlie, and we're a praise band...uhh) so, i started playing with them, and have been for about...half a year now. the people in the band are...

Mr. Spain: acoustic guitar
Charlie Dane: acoustic guitar/drums
Katie Dane(his daughter): acoustic guitar

i'm the youngest one in it. age 13. then there's Katie who's gonna be a senior this year...i think, and she can play guitar good! she plays all sorts of picking songs. like Sweet Home Alabama and Stairway to Heaven. Megan Spain is a senior, and is going to go to college. she's Mr. Spain's daughter. then yea. well the reason we have so many vocals is because most people wanted to sing. and alot of times people can't come some sundays so they fill in for them and stuff. well, Mr. Spain is REALLY good at guitar. he helps me alot. he's really nice. well, last night he saw my new guitar and loved it. well, at least i thought so. my D chord sounds so much better on the electric. i think it might have to do with the strings. but anyway. we play every sunday at 8:30. i've sort of started to like it. but not so much...

well, you should be proud of me. i got a comments script, so now people can leave comments. i'm working on getting more traffic to the website. i'll sign up with Google, and work on it. so, yea. i wish i had more to say, but i don't so, ttyl!
