UGHHHHH WILL THIS MADNESS NOT END??!!!!!! don't you hate it...hate it, when a song gets stuck in your head...well i have freaking PETER FRAMPTON stuck in my head!! Mr. Spain burned me Frampton Comes Alive CD. he was saying how the songs were pretty easy and he hoped i enjoyed it. well, being a NICE person, i figured that since he went through the trouble of burning me that CD i'd learn one or two of the songs from it. (even though he'll make up any excuse to burn a CD...but hey, i love the CD's...well, most of em). my dad told me to be careful with how long i listen to the CD...but did i heed his warning? nay, nay, nay. i reconized two of the songs. Show Me the Way and Baby, I love your Ways. well, i printed out the tabs, worked on it. (though i still can't get the Bm) well, i kept listening to the CD to get the song down. and now...i have Show Me the Way stuck in my head. and nothing seems to eaise my pain. i swear.
i've had a bad, yet good day.
today early in the morning, i heard something that crushed me. see, Y101 (Richmond's New Rock FM Radio Station) is doing this free concert in honer of 50 years of Rock 'n' Roll. they're gonna have Saliva, Future Leaders of the World, and some other dudes that i can't remember. well, you can't just...come. you have to listen to the radio, figure out where the 'speical' place is, and go there to get the tickets...while they last. and well, this morning around 6:30 i was listening to the radio, and it said 'we'll be at the hardees in hopewell around 7:00 to around 8:40ish.' that's FREAKING RIGHT DOWN THE STREET!! I CAN WALK!
well, uh, problem. class at the Art Museum at 9:00, dad's driving, dad drives out to work at 7:00.
Me: Dad...guess where they're giving out those tix?
Dad: Where?
Me: At the Hardees!!
Dad: Great.
Me: Uh...
Dad: Can't be late.
My Thoughts:...... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
Ah well....:sobs: i guess i'll survive. though...still really really sad.
So the classes at the Art Museum went well. basically they're classes for younger photographers on how to edit them and stuff on Photoshop. the computers are only on Windows 98, but that's what i have here, so no big. the coolest thing happened though! this pretty cute guy, comes in with a Ramones T-shirt. i'm like 'dude, the Ramones rock man!' he smiles, goes and sits down at a computer. well, my dad sitting next to me...don't really remember why. and the dude's mom comes in, she's all...JEFF??? and dad's all..._______???(forgot her name) and apparently they were friends back in highschool, and her husband and dad did all that local punk band thing. which is pretty sweet. unfortunally...i didn't get to talk to the dude. he seems a little weird, but hey, he's into The Ramones, was wearing converes, and is a base player. totally sweet. i'll try to talk to him tomorrow...
Ugh...I had to go to the detenist today. i hate that place. a small little waiting room with puke orange waiting chairs and the best of the 50's is blaring on the radio. and the lady who checks my teeth has been there FOREVER. ever since i was born, and dad was in his 20-30's she's been there. and ohhhh i hate going into her little room to get my teeth checked. she has this little clock that purposly goes slow...so it makes you feel like you where in ther e forever. it's ALWAYS slow. and i just hate getting that nasty fruit punch paste on my teeth and that little bib, and then she's always like, so how are you? 'mkakdja kdaaikekk' what's that? 'MKAKDJA KDAAIKEEK' you don't have to yell you know. but oooooooohhhhh i hate that little flower pot. i hate that thing...man. it's creepy for one thing. it has this weird face on the pot...and it just sits there...and smiles...just smiles at you the whole time. it's been there since i was what?...6? god....you're looking over her shoulder while she's plowing you teeth around and it just sits there and smiles. god...i hate that thing. well, it's 9:34 and i really need to sleep. (yea yea, it's EARLY. but hey, saturday night i stayed up around 2:00 playing my new guitar, then had to wake up at 6:00 to get ready for band practice, then went to bed at 10:00 on sunday and had to wake up at 6:00 this morning. so, compaired to my usual twelve hours of sleep everyday...i'm tired!) so anyway, ttyl!
Cussak: Is that Peter Fing Frampton?
Black: You know...I've always hated that song...
