Kill Bill Volume 2 Review
J.J Woher
+++++
Kill Bill Volume 2 has less action and less blood squirting but has a stronger story, drama and more dialogue than Volume 1. In Volume 2, Uma Thurman is still on her hunt for Bill (David Carradine). First though she needs to take out his brother Budd (Michaal Madsen) and the one eyed Elle Driver (Daryl Hannah).
It's slower with too much dialogue some might think but the dialogue is still always entertaining. Especially the lines delivered by David Carradine and Michael Madeson. Carradine does his best work I think and makes you wonder why he's not in more movies. He definetly gives one of the best supporting performances this year so far. Although Uma wasn't nominated for the first Vol she should be for this one as well. She does some of her best work here as well. The only problem I had is a small one. The fight with the Bride and Bill at the end is way too short and their dialogue lasts longer. Still surprisingly it's not anti-climatic and reminds me sort of the way a Westen show-down would end. Quentin Tarantino shows in this half that he wasn't out to just make kun-fu blood bath. This second half is where all the drama and stronger story can be found.

I TOTALLY agree with this guy. The movie was AWESOME! Both my friends were disappointed b/c there wasn't as much killing, but all in all, I still loved it. Being only 13, my dad hasn't let me see all of the 1st movie, but even with that on mind, i still extreamly enjoyed the second movie. though i was a bit disappointed because i was figuring that in the end it was gonna be some huge bloody battle between Bill and (beep), and there wasn't, it was pretty basic... but once the movie sunk in i was satisfied. i was somewhat freaked by the whole...
eyeball scene, it was still totally awesome. i got a bit confused with the beggining part when she's like "Now I'm gonna, kill bill" and the whole superman thing was sweet...but it got a little slow. now, when that girl started talking about poor lil Emilo...i straight out said "That girl has total mental problems. What type of 4 year old purposly stomps on their goldfish??". But still SWEET! now all i gotta do is stop running around the house punching everything with the "special close up punch". i already have blisters on my fingers...don't need 'em on my knuckles...
